Function:  Information Technology Title:  System Administrator Approved By (Title): Human Resources Date:      January 31, 2022 Location USA - Atlanta, GA; Columbia, MD; Franklin Park, IL; Lavergne, TN; Roseville, CA; Tampa, FL; Tucson, AZ; West Chicago, IL EMEA - Germany, Netherlands, Poland, UK APAC - Australia, India, New Zealand, Singapore Purpose of Role Under minimal direction, the Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining server systems, staffing the help desk to support users, and assisting with other IT projects. Inclusive of Cyber Security, patch management and mobile device support and management. Responds to vendor inquiries, equipment configuration, inclusive of audio-visual systems. Reporting to IT Service Lead Principal Accountabilities   Administer Computer/Server/Network Configuration, setup and support. Monitor Helpdesk and track/resolve requests with proper documentation. Advanced troubleshooting, break/fix resolution, and prefers routine preventative maintenance. Develops and maintains procedures and associated documents for all system/applications in area of responsibility. Administer Security for Computers/Servers/Network equipment and facility NVR/Cameras/Badge access systems. Administer/Manage user account activations/terminations/permissions Training/Mentoring team members. Manage Active Directory servers, software, services, Group Policy development, and deployment. Work with Operations to develop new processes/procedures to meet business objectives. Other duties as assigned. Key Performance Indicator (KPIs)   Key Relationships Internal – IT Staff / Plant, Corporate and remote users.   External – Software and hardware providers, Managed Service Providers, Customer Vendor Managers Experience / Qualification Required High School Diploma or equivalent with appropriate technical schooling and training. Two years of experience in IT operations. 5 – 7 years of experience in IT and Managed Service Support, preferred Skills and Competencies Self-starter Advanced knowledge of computer hardware and repair. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to make analytical decisions that may require troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task Change advocate ITSM Change Control Knowledge and literacy IT Security, NIST understanding Knowledge pf Audio Visual setup, usage, and configuration Must be fluent in English and Spanish Working Conditions / Physical Demands Working Conditions Work is normally performed in a typical office work environment Occasional exposure to noise, dust, heat, fumes, and weather conditions Typical use of office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers, etc. Long periods of sitting, standing, walking, and telephone speaking and listening Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, fitted dust mask, etc., as required Must be able to and have proper documentation for travel to other U.S. and Mexico SLS sites as needed.
