Job Description Summary This role will be a key member of our supply planning team. Working closely with suppliers, production, materials and inventory management to ensure the appropriate materials are available to meet the production schedule. Coordinates with inventory to time the shipment of specific materials in line with production schedules and inventory goals. Works with suppliers to procure the appropriate materials for production. May assist in the production scheduling process. This is a hybrid role based in our Letchworth office. This position is a fixed-term contract until March 2027. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is sufficient to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including procurement, operations, customer service and sales, to identify potential supply chain issues and propose effective solutions. Contingency Planning: Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks in the supply chain process. Supplier Relations: Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: 1+ years of experience in supply planning or supply chain management welcome, but not necessary. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets and make data-driven decisions. Technical Proficiency: Good excel skills, including pivot tables, pivot charts and vlookups. Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP systems (such as Logility & JDE), and data analytics tools. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
