The Genetic Assistant Co-op Student will support the implementation of the Genetics Digitization project. This project work will include the development of various digital tools to aid in streamlining and standardizing patient care in the Genetics & Metabolics clinic. The Genetics Assistant Co-op Student will create standardized workflows and clinical assessment tools, digital reporting tools and data analysis tools for use by the clinical care team. • Enrolled or completion of a degree in a science field • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as evidenced by previous work requiring such skills • Mature, dependable and pleasant • Sensitive individual with the ability to relate to patients • Demonstrated tact and discretion in dealing with patient information • Demonstrated self-starter as evidenced by personal initiatives, such as community or school activities Qualifications - Internal • Enrolled or completion of a degree in a science field • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as evidenced by previous work requiring such skills • Mature, dependable and pleasant • Sensitive individual with the ability to relate to patients • Demonstrated tact and discretion in dealing with patient information • Demonstrated self-starter as evidenced by personal initiatives, such as community or school activities
