Location:390 East Gish Rd., San Jose, CA Starting Pay: $26 per hour (depending on shift) Hours: Day and night shifts available Job Summary SCA is seeking experienced CDL B drivers with an air brake endorsement. In this role, you’ll operate a Broom Sweeper Truck or a Dump/Follow Truck while providing prompt service on scheduled routes. Vacuum Sweeper: Removes debris such as broken pavement, asphalt, concrete millings, mud, seasonal/weather-related buildup, and highway waste. Follow Truck: Tows an attenuator housing the arrow board to safely divert traffic around the sweeper. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment. Review and complete scheduled routes; ask clarifying questions if anything is unclear. Operate trucks safely and efficiently. Complete jobs within the allotted time while maintaining quality standards. Exercise caution during inclement weather. Report any equipment failures, near misses, or accidents within 8 hours. Overnight travel may be required. Perform additional duties as assigned.
