Our Technology sector team advises leading corporates and technology investors on the strategic decisions that matter most. As a Director, you’ll have the platform to shape client agendas, originate work, and lead multi‑disciplinary teams that take strategies from thesis to realised value. About the role In our Technology team you will lead client engagements across application and infrastructure software, IT services, and tech‑enabled services. You will advise corporate and investor clients on growth, value creation, and Deals. Typical work includes corporate strategy, market entry, pricing, commercial excellence, product optimisation, and buy‑ and sell‑side commercial diligence. Demand is accelerating as AI, cloud, data, and platform economics reshape business models and investment theses. We help clients navigate these shifts with practical, data‑driven strategies. What your days will look like: Client leadership: serve as a trusted adviser to C‑suite and investor clients; shape problem statements, craft clear recommendations, and drive client decision‑making Project delivery: lead multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality engagements, on time and on budget, from hypothesis to execution Business development: originate and develop client opportunities; create proposals and POVs; contribute to annual sales targets and account plans Deals expertise: lead buy‑ and sell‑side commercial diligence; articulate market theses, customer insights, competitive dynamics, and value‑creation levers Thought leadership: develop actionable points of view on sector trends (e.g., AI/ML, cybersecurity, data platforms, SaaS monetisation); contribute to external eminence People and practice: coach and develop team members; foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture; contribute to recruiting and practice development This role is for you if: Strategy experience: significant experience at a top‑tier strategy firm or in‑house strategy leadership within a corporate in the technology sector Technology domain: deep exposure to at least one of: application software/SaaS, infrastructure software, IT services/managed services, or tech‑enabled services SaaS fluency: comfort with SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, expansion, cohort analysis) and pricing/packaging strategies Deals exposure: track record in commercial diligence and value‑creation planning for corporates or financial sponsors Team leadership: proven experience leading multi‑workstream projects and managing senior client stakeholders Revenue generation / account management: track record of originating revenue and managing strategy projects Your skills Structured problem‑solving: hypothesis‑led approach; able to scope and sequence high‑yield work efficiently Analytical rigour: direct and quality‑assure quantitative and qualitative analyses (market sizing, customer insights, competitor dynamics, business model and financial analysis) Commercial acumen: translate insights into actionable, value‑focused recommendations with clear financial implications Communication. craft compelling narratives and executive‑ready materials; present confidently to boards, investment committees, and deal teams Data and AI literacy.
