We are currently recruiting a <\/span><\/span>Staff Nurse – Endoscopy Department<\/span><\/span><\/b> for a hospital located in <\/span><\/span>Cork, Ireland<\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Nurses will be required to work days, nights, and weekends.<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/div>

<\/span><\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span> <\/div>

  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned hospital patients.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure patients attending the Endoscopy Unit receive high\-quality nursing care in line with established protocols and guidelines.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Implement medical orders for assigned patients, administering medications and treatments safely and appropriately.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Promptly report any changes in a patient’s condition to the relevant medical and nursing staff.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided, taking into account the patient’s response to interventions.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Accurately document nursing care using the hospital’s Meditech system and maintain all assigned patient records.<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>


    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • Possess a PIN and be fully registered on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland's general division of the register of nurses.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li> <\/ul>
      • One year of acute hospital setting experience following registration.<\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
        • Ensure patients attending the Endoscopy Unit receive high\-quality care in line with established protocols and guidelines.​<\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
          • A nursing strategy that is patient\-centered.<\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
            • Reputable clinical and professional competence<\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
              • Proficiency in the English language is mandatory for the position.<\/span><\/span>

                • The capacity to function well in a multidisciplinary team<\/span><\/span>
