 Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/div>

<\/span><\/span> <\/div>

  • Accountable and responsible for own professional practice, with a clear understanding of the Scope of Professional Practice, Code of Professional Conduct, and Beacon Hospital policies, guidelines, and competencies relevant to practice.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Provision of high\-quality nursing care through the use of an individualised system of care, in line with agreed nursing standards.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Monitoring and management of all complaints and incidents, with prompt escalation to the Clinical Coordinator to ensure full investigation and appropriate follow\-up.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Ongoing evaluation and maintenance of high standards of patient care, with particular focus on nursing care within the department.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Supervision and support of junior nursing staff during each span of duty, providing appropriate guidance, direction, and assistance.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Promotion of a positive learning environment and encouragement of continuous professional development.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Engagement with current developments in nursing practice to enhance professional knowledge and clinical skills.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Identification and contribution to potential areas of nursing research within the specialty to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    • Registered or eligible for registration in the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Minimum of one year post\-registration nursing experience.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Six months’ experience in an emergency or acute care setting is desirable.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li> <\/ul>
