Staff Midwife (Maternity Cover)

• The Staff Midwife will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of midwifery care practiced in the relevant care setting. The Staff Midwife will provide holistic, person-centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users.
• The Staff Midwife will work within a multidisciplinary team in providing a safe, effective, high quality midwifery service to women, babies and their families.
• Staff Midwives are required to work a variety of settings including Ante-Natal, Intrapartum and Post- Natal and may include rotation to the Integrated Community Midwifery Service.
