We are currently seeing a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant. 

Job Overview  

The Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business entities. This position will be responsible for general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end close. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment within the oilfield services sector. 

Requirements 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities  

• Maintain financial activity in QuickBooks 
• Data entry into MS Business Central 
• Assist with bank transactions  
• Assist with credit card statements, 
• Payroll-related entries and reconciliations 
• A/P and A/R - posting transactions 
• Assist with proper allocations  
• Complete journal entries including adjusting and reconciliations 
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 
• Collaborate with operations and management teams across multiple locations to ensure proper coding and accurate financial reporting by product line and company. 
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports. 
• Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation to external auditors. 
• All other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred (or equivalent experience)  
• 2–5 years of accounting experience; oil and gas services industry experience preferred. 
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-location accounting structures strongly preferred.
