Responsible for managing the day to day operations of various mission critical facilities in cleanroom, R&D and Office environment. Ensure that all Facilities Outsource Vendor/Contractors follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and perform daily in a well-planned executed fashion to meet the KPIs for the operations and facilities. Ensure the safe, reliable and continued operations of the facilities, security and its functions. Ensure the operations, maintenance, and vendor management standards of the contract are met in a cost effective efficient manner. Work in cooperation with the Site’s team and/or subcontractors. Responsible for facility projects and operations in accordance with approved operating guidelines and budget. Support issues that include management strategy, client relations, team building and other key contractual strategies. Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. The successful candidate will develop novel solutions to new and existing problems to ensure the safety of our employees, fostering the trust of our employees and management. Must ensure the continued, safe and reliable operations of the R&D site. Must manage the Facilities and Maintenance in a cost-effective fashion in accordance with the approved annual budget and the site’s requirements. Interfaces with the management for financial, contract, and customer strategies of the facility. Communicates Service Levels, objectives and expectations to all. Establishes and improves written procedures for the daily operations, repair, maintenance and projects of the facility systems. Manage contractors, specifications, issues, performance and Service Levels. Influencing skills; gains support for ideas, proposals, projects and solutions. Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills; ability to plan and deliver oral and written communications that have impact and are persuasive with the intended audiences. Demonstrate successes building and maintaining collaborative relationships. Results Orientation, Initiative, Thoroughness, Analytical skills. Also important are skills and abilities necessary to support all facets of Environment, Health & Safety activities in the operations including: Hazardous Waste Regulations Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Evacuation Planning and Drills Investigating and Correcting identified safety issues and concerns Managing all Safety programs found in an Office R&D operation such as: Electrical, Chemical Safety Personal Protective Equipment Basic Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or maintenance operations management is required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills Strong financial experience including budgeting, project management, payback analysis and problem solving Experience managing seasoned professionals as a mentor and coach.
