We are looking for a Specialist II, Financial Regulatory to join our team in Calgary, Alberta or Houston TX office. This position will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and preparing studies, schedules, exhibits, testimony and reports related to Enbridge’s natural gas transmission pipeline and storage companies. Individual will lead meetings with internal Enbridge departments, including Commercial, Business Development, Plant Accounting, Operations, Capacity Planning, Tax, and others as appropriate for the timely preparation of various Enbridge toll and tariff filings. If you have advanced Excel skills and a background in accounting, apply today, we would love to hear from you! #joinourteam What You Will Do: Assists in the determination of regulatory strategy for toll filings. The Specialist II is a key participant in the compilation of statements and schedules for the revenue requirement and tolls in support of tolling filings. Coordinates the preparation and review of quarterly, semi-annual and annual regulatory filings. Provides strategic guidance and advice during meetings with internal teams on regulatory requirements as well as new or revised interpretations of requirements. Assist in the preparation of information request responses as needed. Modeling revenue requirement and tolling scenarios to support commercial operations and business development Provides research on (including but not limited to) regulatory intelligence, competitor tolls, allocation and rate design, rate development best practices and key risk areas. Who You Are: Requires a comprehensive understanding of natural gas pipeline transmission businesses, regulatory, financing and a general understanding of operations and construction issues. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Economics/Finance, Engineering, Law or equivalent. Seven or more years of directly related experience Demonstrated ability to develop and build collaborative working relationships with internal and external partners Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems by using analytical skills to reach a logical conclusion. Financial modeling experience Advanced Excel skills Strong working knowledge of Enbridge and its natural gas assets Preferred qualifications include an MBA and experience in supporting CER and FERC filings and rate proceedings. Working Conditions: Office environment Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 15 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Mental Requirements include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
