The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to support and enhance our project delivery team. What will you be doing as our new Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager? Reporting to the Head of HSE & Wellbeing you will provide direct, hands-on support to operational teams across SPA, helping to embed Anglian Water’s Safer Every Day principles and promote a strong culture of Wellbeing and Behavioural Safety at the frontline. The role focuses on practical safety leadership, proactive risk management, and consistent application of health, safety, and wellbeing standards. Through active engagement and leading by example, you will promote a culture of openness, competence, and continuous improvement. Acting as a visible ambassador for Wellbeing and Behavioural Safety, you will ensure these principles are integrated across operational teams, support functions, and supply chain partners. Key responsibilities: Implement the SPA HSW Strategy aligned to AWS Safer Every Day & Capital Delivery Strategy Manage the HSW resources and team structure to deliver the SPA HSW Strategy Manage the HSW Leads in the effective deployment of the HSW Advisors, to align to operational need, support implementation of standards, and allow team integration. Manage the HSW Leads in the collection, collation, and local analysis of HSW performance data to ensure consistent actionable insight to frontline SPA teams. Co-ordinate and manage HSW/SHE programmes e.g. ORM throughout SPA, from concept to embedding. Co-ordinate and manage HSW Meetings (for team and Operations) to ensure HSW and operational team leadership and engagement. Manage incident response processes including escalation, investigation and lessons learned.
