Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance as an Electrical Site Supervisor. Location: Site based at local SPA offices. Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to one of the UK’s most ambitious water infrastructure projects? The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for an Electrical Site Supervisor to support and enhance our project delivery team. What will you be doing as our new Electrical Site Supervisor? You will oversee electrical work and site electricians, issuing permits and ensuring electrical safety rules are followed. This role involves the electrical management of projects from inception to completion. It will be site-based requiring regular communication between other members of the delivery team based in the local offices. You will work with the project teams and be responsible for the management of site electrical works, delivery teams and sub-contractors on site. The role will require the effective utilisation of time and resources to meet the project budgets and delivery programmes. You will be expected to carry out the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, quality, environmental and performance standards along with ensuring all work meets required water industry regulations and AW approved standards. Key responsibilities: Work in accordance with Anglian Water Electrical Safety rules & procedures. Implement SPA Integrated Management System requirements and statutory legal regulations paying specific attention to HSE legislation. Ensure all electrical plant and equipment is tested and details recorded on the plant sheets for SPA and ensure the subcontractor’s information is supplied prior to use. Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements, review and amend risk assessments. Deliver toolbox talks. Discuss any changes or amendments to method statements with site team and ensure they are updated to suit. Deliver prestart of shift briefings ensuring all areas of works are covered. Ensure site personnel have job relevant training requirements and is entered on site personnel training register. Carry out plant checks ensuring in good working order and any certification is in date. Track, monitor and record daily work productions ensuring relevant information is communicated to the Site Manager. Lead by example and supervise activities pro-actively and uphold the SPA values. This role could be right for you if you have: A good understanding of WIMES (Water Industry Mechanical & Electrical Specifications) A good understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 A CSCS Affiliated Electrical supervisor card CITB SMSTS qualification BS7671 18th edition qualified electrician 3-day First aid qualification Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
