Position Overview: The Sourcing Co ordinator is responsible for delivering Prototypes, Samples and bulk production within the requested timeline according to the product-specific requirements. The position does work seamlessly with Development, Material management, Compliance/Quality and Procurement and is the main gate keeper to make sure products are delivered on time and in full. The Specialist, Commercialization acts as the interface between the manufacturers and Canada Goose and, therefore a highly important member of the team. What you'll do: Advise vendors of seasonal buying/production calendar, unit plans & negotiate minimums as applicable, working with Managers for guidance on setting objectives for the season and negotiating any challenges Manage raw material bookings and call-offs with suppliers, ensuring production needs are met in accordance with calendar and delivery schedule. Support the offshore procurement team with following up on seasonal orders in managing delivery dates and cost negotiations. Update PLM with vendor costs. Liaise with product development for updated BOM information as needed. Liaise with Customer Operations and Supply planning for timely receipt of orders and advise cross functional teams when orders are retimed. Study pre-buy vs. actual & identify shortfalls across division, re-ordering where appropriate Prepare updates for weekly production meetings. Partner with manager to finalize prices & margin, providing seasonal price analyses across vendors and product categories. Participate in vendor performance analysis each season. Partner with product development and technical team each season on critical sign off dates required by production calendar & ensure compliance Partner with quality assurance to resolve quality issues as needed. Communicate to vendors best working practises, changes to existing practises and key seasonal information. Work alongside other sourcing coordinators to ensure standard processes across teams/divisions. Manage buying and delivery deadlines, ensuring adherence to Time & Action calendar Manage team efficiency through monitoring workload & prioritisation. Partner with manager on seasonal counter-sourcing needs such as vendors, pricing, raw materials etc. Create and update seasonal product and production analysis based on various needs and provide them regularly. Any additional duties as may be assigned by the Director of Sourcing Let's Talk About You: Bachelor/Technician/Engineer in apparel/textiles/footwear with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in at least 2 other luxury brands Proven experience in previous production/manufacturing managerial roles. Excellent Excel/Word/PowerPoint PTFlex/Centric PLM is desirable Strong costing & negotiation skills. Highly proficient in MS Office applications. Excellent verbal/written communication & time management skills. Ability to develop strong relationships with peers and cross-functional business partners. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Willingness to travel if required. Organized, efficient, self-motivated, solution- oriented individual. Works well as both team leader & team member. Embraces change with a can do attitude. Self-starting and able to prioritise and focus workload. Teams, colleagues, suppliers and vendors are located in various time zones which does require flexibility in working hours.
