The Role: You will be part of Sensor Systems UK, working in the Farnborough office. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the quality of the software. You’ll sit closely with all the software developers, providing feedback and learning from each other how to achieve the best quality. In addition to running tests, you will be involved in the development of new tests and the wider testing environment. This will require the acumen to write new code and navigate a complex IT installation. Role Requirements: Reviewing software requirements and prepare test scenarios Create and execute tests on the software Analyse test results and report back any errors or bugs Prepare and release test specifications and test protocols Communicate with surrounding teams Participate in design review and provide input to requirements, product design and improvements workshops Improve automation and efficiency with testing Qualifications and Experience: Experience with software testing in a military or industrial domain.
