About the role We are looking for a Senior Lead Developer with expertise in building multi-cloud/hypervisor orchestration solutions. Deep expertise integrating with Nutanix Prism v4 API and advanced proficiency coding in C# is required. The ideal candidate will also have strong expertise integrating with VMware vCenter API. Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or other Desktop as a Service (DaaS) or VDI platforms is strongly preferred. This role combines senior-level engineering leadership with hands-on development and architecture work across virtualization, cloud and multi-hypervisor systems. What you'll do Provide technical leadership and direction for development initiatives involving Nerdio’s support for AVD Hybrid on Nutanix AHV, VMware ESXi, and related platforms. Lead the design, development, and delivery of applications, tooling, and automation solutions built with C#. Architect scalable AVD Hybrid deployments, including host pool design, image workflows, access models, performance optimization, and operational governance. Oversee and advance Nutanix AHV and VMware ESXi platform usage, including automation, monitoring, lifecycle management, and orchestration through Prism and vCenter APIs. Lead the successful development of Nerdio’s unified multi-cloud/hypervisor orchestration engine supporting Nutanix AHV, VMware ESXi, Azure, and related platforms. Develop reusable automation through PowerShell, REST APIs, SDKs, and infrastructure-level scripting. Lead cross-functional collaboration with cloud, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions. Drive root-cause analysis and performance troubleshooting across the virtualization, desktop, and infrastructure stack. Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, documentation, and architectural patterns. Mentor and guide developers and engineers, helping shape the technical roadmap and team capabilities. Participate in strategic planning for cloud, virtualization, and automation initiatives. Qualifications 7+ years of professional software development experience with advanced proficiency in C#. Proven leadership experience in technical design, architecture, or lead developer roles. Deep expertise of Nutanix Prism v4 API and Nutanix AHV operations. Strong expertise with VMware vCenter API and VMware ESXi operations. Familiarity with multi-cloud or multi-hypervisor orchestration frameworks. Strong understanding of virtualization concepts (compute, storage, and networking) and enterprise Windows ecosystems. Experience building automation via PowerShell, REST APIs, or similar technologies.
