The job involves: Dealing with extremely large volumes of money Performing regularly scheduled slot drops on the gaming floor at 4 am Handling a wide variety of different types of cash and equivalents such as bills, coins, slot machine tickets and chips Opening, sorting, counting, verifying and balancing of table game drop boxes and slot cash storage boxes Removing and replacing storage boxes from the trolley, running cash through currency counters and obtaining totals Consolidating, clipping, strapping, bundling and balancing of all the cash Lifting up to 25 pounds repetitively throughout your shift Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, with mainly day shifts The ideal candidate has: One year cash handling or banking experience Excellent fine motor skills, strong mathematical skills and attention to detail The ability to work in a strictly regulated environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in all Microsoft Office programs We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted Niagara Casinos is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment by providing equal opportunity to candidates of all abilities.
