The SZC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project. #SZCJobsShuttering Carpenter (Sizewell C)Cafferty GroupSizewell C Main Duties: Formwork ConstructionBuild and assemble shutters/formwork for concrete pours (e.g. columns, slabs, walls, beams, and bases).Measure, cut, and assemble timber, plywood, or metal formwork panels in line with drawings and specifications.Ensure all formwork is level, plumb, square, and properly aligned.Concrete Pour PreparationCheck formwork stability and tightness before each concrete pour.Apply release agents and prepare surfaces as required.Assist during the pour to ensure even filling and prevent blowouts or deformation of the formwork.Quality and WorkmanshipMaintain high workmanship standards to meet tolerance and finish requirements.Report any issues, defects, or discrepancies to the site supervisor immediately. Requirements: CSCS Blue cardPrevious Shuttering carpenter experience is a must. For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
