About the Role As a Shift Team Leader at our Leeds facility, you will be responsible for leading manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, and performance excellence. This pivotal role requires exceptional leadership skills to inspire and develop teams while ensuring customer satisfaction and company compliance in a safe environment. You will be the driving force behind operational excellence, promoting professional behaviors and embodying Britvic's company values. Role Responsibilities Lead safety initiatives with an 'audit-ready' philosophy, ensuring all team members adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements while meeting established KPIs and maintaining proper PPE standards Drive quality excellence through adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and industry standards, ensuring products meet the highest quality levels through a 'Right First Time' approach Deliver operational performance targets including OEE, reliability, SKU attainment, and yield while supporting production planning to ensure on-time delivery of customer requirements Manage and develop a diverse team of 5-15 employees, conducting regular performance reviews, creating tailored development plans, and fostering an inclusive environment where individuals can realize their potential Effectively manage costs through efficient use of materials, consumables, and labor while identifying opportunities for waste reduction aligned with Britvic's planet targets Implement continuous improvement initiatives by identifying, defining, and solving complex operational challenges with a 'see it, own it, solve it' approach Ensure exceptional internal and external customer service to meet On Time In Full (OTIF) targets and site availability requirements Experience and Key Attributes Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality systems, and operational excellence methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment Experience in performance management, including setting objectives, conducting appraisals, and developing talent Ability to work a 12-hour per day, 24/6 annualized hours shift pattern as required by the business Commitment to continuous personal development and creating a culture of learning within the team Our commitment to diversity equity & inclusion We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences - including those of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, religions, and socioeconomic statuses.
