This role plays a central part in defining the commercial and organisational strategy for the region, ensuring alignment across functions, and serving as a key interface with Global Strategy. As the Senior Strategy & Insights Manager, you will manage the end-to-end strategic planning cycle, translate insights into clear decisions, and lead a focused team responsible for analytics and commercial project management. This is a highly cross-functional role with significant exposure to senior leadership. Neurovascular portfolio: Neurovascular | Stryker Key Responsibilities Regional Strategy Leadership Shape and drive the Neurovascular EMEA commercial and organisational strategic agenda. Partner with Brand Management to ensure that individual brand strategies align into a cohesive portfolio direction. Align Sales, Marketing, Finance, MedEd, Operations, and Global teams around shared priorities. Represent the EMEA strategic perspective in collaboration with Global Strategy. Strategic Planning Own and manage the full strategic planning cycle for the EMEA region. Build the strategic narrative and frameworks used in regional and global long-range planning. Develop alignment mechanisms and planning tools that enable clarity and consistent execution across functions. Communicate strategic priorities effectively across the organisation. Insights & Decision Support Translate market, competitive, and customer insights into clear strategic recommendations. Oversee portfolio-level performance insights, dashboards, and prioritisation frameworks. Provide structured, evidence-based recommendations to senior leadership. Strategic Initiatives Lead the division’s highest-impact commercial and strategic initiatives. Facilitate structured problem-solving, strategic option development, and cross-functional alignment. Coordinate inputs across regional and global stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes. Team Leadership Manage and develop a Marketing Analyst and a Commercial PMO. Build analytical, strategic, and cross-functional capability within the team. Ensure high standards of analytical rigor, synthesis, and execution discipline. Qualifications & Experience Background in management consulting, strategic marketing, business strategy, or a similar strategy-driven environment. Experience developing strategy at portfolio, divisional, or regional level. Strong financial, analytical, and organisational understanding. Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex information and influence decision-making across functions. Proven experience working in a highly cross-functional, matrixed organisation. Location Role can be based anywhere in EMEA. Amsterdam preferred, depending on candidate proximity and business needs. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
