An great opportunity has opened for a Senior Software Engineer who will join our Development team to develop applications accessed via APIs or Web UIs to create industry leading functionality. This role will suit an enthusiastic, multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, who loves to make a difference. Main Responsibilities of the role: Front-end: Design, develop and support feature rich, modern, customer facing ASP.net MVC and .NET Core web applications Back-end: Engineer scalable back-end architectures and communications protocols to support our mobile device systems. This includes message processing, external HTTP data interfaces, APIs, e-commerce, and other services Ad-hoc system administration and DevOps development tasks as necessary Working with the Product Owners, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and external suppliers, partners and clients to understand and deliver quality features. We are looking for someone with experience and skills in: C# ASP.NET MVC Restful API Design and Development (Web API) WCF .NET Core and later Unit testing SQL Server GIT Agile Software Development / Scrum Superb verbal and written communication skills Self-organized, methodical, and promoter of ‘we can do anything’ mind-set A problem solver, pragmatic, ambitious, and a team player It would also be desirable if you have: Full Stack Development experience High volume data processing Implementing resilient systems (DR planning) Extensive Azure experience, e.g. Service Bus, Storage, KeyVault Docker & Kubernetes Architectural and Design patterns and SDLC Front end Web design including: CSS/SCSS, HTML/JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, React Knowledge/experience of Agile/Lean/Kanban methodologies Azure DevOps Transport industry knowledge And why Join us?
