Reporting to the Sales Director Upgrades of Nuclear Service Region 2, the Upgrade Sales Manager is responsible for driving the success of nuclear upgrade sales opportunities across OEM & oOEM Steam Turbines, OEM & oOEM Generators, and Automation & Controls within Region 2. In this role, the Sales Manager will be responsible for securing profitable upgrade opportunities for our own fleet as well as targeted other-brand equipment. Success will require close collaboration with the Core Service Sales team, Early Engagement team, Commercial Operations (ComOps) team, OTR Service team and more or less all other Arabelle Solutions functions in order to develop and execute winning sales strategies. The Sales Manager will be accountable for securing upgrade orders, meeting commitments, and delivering convertible orders across the entire product portfolio in Region 2. This includes developing strategies to win deals, ensuring rigor in Large Deal Solidity Reviews, addressing gaps with the Early Engagement team, exploring partnership opportunities, and presenting winning strategies to leadership. You will also lead deal negotiations and closures, working closely with Commercial Operations and Core Sales leaders. Other Key Responibilities of the role Achieve upgrade orders volume and margin targets where you will lead a Deal Team to reach your objective. Own and drive your upgrade orders portfolio, ensuring growth and profitability. Develop and manage your 10-year upgrade pipeline and pacing strategy to support business planning processes. Prepare and present your Large Deal Solidity Reviews and Offer presentations to optimize winning strategies. Drive targeted growth campaigns for upgrade opportunities. Serve as a key driver of forecasting and NEX platform initiatives Where we are not active on core service, establish and maintain C-level relationships with customers, ensuring long-term partnerships. Act as an internal Voice of Customer (VOC) to support New Product Introduction (NPI) development. Profile Qualifications and Requirements; This role is ideal for a strategic and results-driven leader with a strong sales background, a deep understanding of the nuclear services market, and the ability to lead and inspire a team toward sustained growth. MBA Proven commercial sales experience in closing large and complex contracts. Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs. High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools Deep technical sales experience in steam turbines & generators Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills at the executive level. Proven coordination and influencing skills, especially in a matrix organization. Customer-focused mindset with demonstrated ability to understand and respond quickly to customer needs. Ability to effectively lead and energize a team to meet and/or exceed sales op plan. Fluent in English, additional languages would be beneficial.
