Senior Program Manager

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team full-time in the Canada .

About the role:

As a Senior Program Manager leading an ERP implementation project is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the ERP rollout, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring the solution is delivered successfully to meet business needs.
This role is crucial in aligning technology delivery with business processes, ensuring smooth transitions, and driving organizational value from ERP investments

Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains the overall project plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables, and manages all aspects from initiation to closure
• Coordinates with stakeholders such as executive leadership, department heads, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure expectations, requirements, and outcomes are aligned
• Oversees risk management, proactively identifying and mitigating project risks, and troubleshooting issues during implementation and testing phases
• Leads change management and end-user training activities to drive adoption and facilitate transition to the new ERP system
• Manages project resources, financials, and reporting, ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and best practices throughout the project
• Supervises quality assurance processes, maintains documentation, and provides regular updates to senior management and governance boards
• Collaborates with software vendors and consultants throughout the implementation, ensuring timely delivery and technical support
• Monitors and maintains the ERP system post-go-live, coordinating upgrades and improvements based on user feedback and business needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field
• At least 8 years of work experience, including a minimum of 3 years managing ERP or similar large-scale system implementation projects
• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale ERP implementations (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, etc.), vendor management, and change management
• Strong organizational, communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills
• Able to travel and be available for emergency situations as needed
• Leads regular project reviews and post-implementation assessments to capture lessons learned and drive future project improvements
• Ensures ERP systems integrate with existing processes and comply with regulatory and organizational standards
• Manages relationships and contracts with implementation partners, external consultants, and support teams
