Senior Outsourced Accounting Specialist - Professional Services & Small Business Healthcare

Trout CPA, a full-service certified public accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Outsourced Accounting Specialist in its Client Accounting Services (CAS) department. The Senior Outsourced Accounting Specialist is an integral member of the CAS team, acting as a liaison between the client and the firm. This role is responsible for the overall client experience from onboarding through the coordination of service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients; attend kickoff meetings
• Set up client engagements, provide training, maintain client information
• Serve as primary client contact; for coordination and communication
• Performs balance sheet reconciliation on the cash or accrual basis
• Prepares financial information within client deadlines and on budget
• Schedules client meetings; organizes data ahead of time; coordinates attendance by team members
• Responds successfully and timely to client requests
• Coordinate with internal teams for client engagement needs
• Assist with client reporting (1099s, etc.)
• Contribute to proposal development and attend networking events
• Create documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Provide backup support to CAS team members

• Three (3) to five (5) years of recent accounting experience
• Accounting degree; preferred
• Experience with management of multiple client priorities; highly desired
• Proficiency with various accounting software and technology
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Represents the firm in a positive, professional manner
