Job Description:

Direct Medics are working in partnership with a client in County Roscommon to find an experienced and dedicated Senior Orthoptist to cover a 9 month maternity leave contract - starting from May 2026, based in Roscommon Town.

Requirements:

• HCPC Registered Orthoptist

• At least 3 years post qualification clinical experience

• Experience working as an Orthoptist in Ireland or the UK

• Demonstrates a sound understanding of Orthoptic services, procedures and underpinning theory, with the ability to apply knowledge to best clinical practice.

• Demonstrates evidence-based clinical and technical knowledge to assess patients, make informed clinical decisions and deliver care in line with relevant legislation, policies and professional standards

• Right to live and work in Ireland
