For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy. With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK.  As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.   About the Role   As a National Account  Manager, you will serve as the key point of contact for customers, leading strategic negotiations and developing comprehensive account plans to drive volume, profit, and market share growth. This pivotal role requires exceptional commercial acumen, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.   Role Responsibilities   Develop and implement customer-specific strategic and tactical plans aligned with channel goals to deliver share, revenue, and trading contribution targets Lead price increase planning and execution, including pre-conditioning and effective objection handling Establish robust customer contact strategies to identify and unlock new business opportunities Take full accountability for the Soft Drinks business P&L, including building investment plans to achieve annual operating plan objectives Manage allocated budgets in line with channel and brand guidelines to ensure maximum return on investment Conduct regular outlet visits to gain market insights, assess execution quality, and support team development Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Planning & Execution, and Customer Logistics teams to ensure aligned business strategies   Experience and Key Attributes   Inspirational and persuasive communication skills with the ability to build strong partnerships at all levels Proven commercial acumen with confidence in P&L management, volume forecasting, and profit analysis Advanced selling and negotiation skills with experience in trade investment management Excellent personal planning and time management capabilities Degree or equivalent qualification is desirable  Experience in category development or customer category development (desirable) Ability to make confident decisions quickly while delivering excellence and continuous improvement     Our commitment to diversity equity & inclusion   We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences - including those of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, religions, and socioeconomic statuses.
