Job Description Job title: Senior Manager - Servicing CoE Location: Edinburgh or Birmingham Salary: Pay Group 4F Hours: Full time Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Lending Operations is part of the Business and Commercial Banking Chief Operating Office, the operational hub of BCB. We play a pivotal role in delivering BCB’s growth ambitions, supporting customers across our Business Banking, SME and Mid-Corporate segments. We provide specialist support for the lifetime of a lending facility built around Centres of Excellence (CoE) for Origination, Servicing, Securities & Asset Finance. About this opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and transformational leader to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Lending Operations, you’ll lead our newly formed Servicing Operations Centre of Excellence to deliver improvements and manage customer service delivery across our hubs in Edinburgh, Birmingham, Andover and Mumbai. Interacting with our Business Process Outsourcing partners in TP and TCS, you’ll ensure delivery of customer service, performance and risk metrics as we expand our global footprint. What you’ll be doing: Effective leadership of the newly formed Servicing CoE across multiple sites Successful delivery of service transformation, collaborating effectively with Business Process Outsourcing Partners Lead a team of experts across multiple locations to deliver process performance and harness future skills Drive data-led operational performance management, supporting customers, colleagues and commercials to protect and improve customer service Collaborate closely with internal colleagues to ensure improvements to the end-to-end lending journey Oversee and deliver innovative continuous improvement, support change and implement improvements to processes and procedures Provide effective Risk Management across operation, finding opportunities to improve and automate control landscape Work collaboratively across Senior Leadership Team to support on key initiatives both across Lending Operations and the wider commercial business Take ownership for implementing development for the team, coaching and mentoring others throughout the organisation and investing in your own personal development What you’ll need: Experience working as a senior operational leader with strong awareness and knowledge of the end-to-end commercial lending journey Deep understanding and experience in driving strong operational performance, mitigating risks and leading the end to end servicing journey within financial services environments An individual who can inspire and motivate colleagues, coaching and developing themselves and their team to work together to provide an excellent customer experience Proven ability to lead agile change and embed new ways of working across complex lending processes, with a focus on driving efficiency and colleague engagement during transformation Ability to communicate optimally at all levels and across different audiences, embracing our Grow with Purpose strategy Ability to balance and deliver on multiple priorities within tight timescales, using good judgment to drive effective prioritisation and translating deeply complex topics effectively.
