This role plays a key part in shaping the growth of our fastest-growing products, including embedded finance, BNPL, and point-of-sale lending. You will work closely with retail partners and internal teams to design, deliver, and optimise credit strategies, leading high-profile initiatives such as new product launches, platform migrations, and adoption of innovative data sources. With responsibility for both strategy design and hands-on analytics, you will help ensure our growth is balanced with responsible lending, delivering sustainable outcomes for customers and the business. What you will deliver Lead the launch of the Argos Pay product, monitoring early performance and optimising post-launch strategy. Oversee the migration of the AO embedded finance product to a new platform. Develop strategies that use new features on the AO product, including upfront payments and basket contents (SKU) data. Support the growth of NewPay 1:Many products, including expanding partnerships such as LBG and NewPay Direct. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal teams, including Customer Management, Risk, Enterprise Partnerships, Commercial, Data Science, Finance, and Treasury. Your Skills and Experience Essential University degree or equivalent, with a strong numerate and analytical background. Experience in developing credit acquisition strategies and implementing policies and controls. Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with an ability to anticipate challenges and adapt to change. Experience within financial services, particularly in consumer credit, with a background in risk and/or analytics. Proficient in SQL and Python for analysis and strategy development. Desirable Experience leading a team in a growth-focused business, including recruiting and developing talent. Familiarity with modelling techniques. Understanding of decisioning systems (e.g., Provenir). Experience working with Credit Reference Agency (Credit Bureau) data.
