Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join our growing and innovative team within Insider Risk in the greater Toronto area. This is a new role that focusses on identifying indicators of behavior and collaborate with cross functional teams to establish and investigate early indicators to help proactively highlight events and action them prior to them becoming exposures. The incumbent will be responsible work closely with global security, investigations, IT, HR, legal and privacy teams to refine insider risk detection mechanisms, establishing key metrics and enable effective oversight functions while foster a culture of ongoing protection and trust while maintaining strong employee privacy protection practices. What will you do? Conduct in-depth analysis of screening processes to minimize Insider Risk. Develop Insider risk reports and recommend and implement corrective actions to help strengthen risk management practices across all functional areas Develop detailed investigation reports and recommend and implement corrective actions to help strengthen risk management practices across all functional areas Review and enhance stronger access, monitoring, and preventative controls. Enable and maintain a comprehensive case database to help track trends, correlate common data vectors and to help highlight and address thematic issues. Create and maintain sustainable procedures and process documentation. What do you need to succeed? Must have: A practical understanding of data protection risk, exposures, and effective controls Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in behavior bases protective measures to help detection efforts. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities. Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally with HR, IT, Identity and Access Management, and security/compliance teams. A willingness to make a difference and help protect business areas and data. Nice to have: Industry related certification – e.g. CITPM, CFE, CISSP Experience in law enforcement, intelligence, or corporate investigations, audit, data protection. Knowledge of financial services business line(s) and associated applications and processes Information Technology standards, methodologies, and audit requirements Strong experience with PowerPoint and Excel What’s in it for you?
