The role: The position is a key part of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis team, acting as support to Head of FP&A, providing financial insights and guidance, identifying critical business issues and drawing meaningful conclusions. This position has three primary areas of focus: Deliver data-driven, insight-led analysis during monthly forecasts by extracting, manipulating, and analysing data from GPM, identifying key performance drivers and areas of business focus by Market, and supporting the Head of FP&A with high-quality analysis for monthly forecasts, Board, and Executive Committee presentations. Review and validate Global Expenses, providing detailed analysis on the global expenses’ evolution, developing and improving the process, liaising with the divisions and answering global expense queries. Aiding in setting Budget Sales and Operating Profit (OP) targets, in collaboration with Divisions and performing scenario analysis on Medium-term plan (MTP), leading presentations for the CEO Regional Forum on these topics Main areas of impact you can create in the role: Financial Planning & Analysis Extract and manipulate data from the consolidation system (GPM) to provide insightful analysis on internal performance, and assist in preparing monthly forecast decks, Board and Executive Committee presentations. Aid in reviewing the monthly forecast and work with Region and Divisions to improve forecast accuracy. Assist in financial modelling of global performance to aid decision making for the company’s medium and long-term performance, sharing directly with the Global CFO. Lead collaboration and consolidation of the Budget Sales and OP Targets and consolidation of MTP. Lead preparation of the CEO Regional Forum presentations, incorporating MTP and Global Expense analysis. Ad-hoc financial analysis for Global Head of FP&A and Sustainable Performance and Global CFO Global Expense Monitoring and Reporting Participating in Divisional Global Charges Budget meetings, gathering insights on key cost compositions and deviation drivers to plan. Be the point person for all global expense queries, including allocation process queries, and ad hoc analysis. Lead the global expense consolidation presentation, reporting on expense trends by Division and Corporate, in strong liaison with the Divisions and Corporate planning teams, providing clear information on allocation changes and cost evolution to Senior Leadership. Prepare presentation on Global Charges for CHANEL Brand owners (CBOs) and Global CFO Global Controlling & Governance Assist in driving forward the simplification agenda, including improvement of the budgeting and forecasting process Participate and animate the CFO calls for allocated region and Divisions, including minutes and follow up actions. Ad hoc and Transversal Subjects Contribute towards any ad hoc financial analysis as needed by the department to senior leaders. Participate in the animation and storytelling of the company performance, through presentations to Executive committee and the Board, including but not limited to monthly forecast presentations, budget presentation, financial communication, press release and presentations on a large range of topics. What you will bring/have: Finance or Data Insights background, educated to Masters, or equivalent level. (CIMA or ACCA desired), with +5 years’ experience Strong Excel and Power BI skills Strong finance knowledge and an understanding of financial principles, systems, processes, management reporting and commercial finance, using these skills to challenge, partner and understand the needs of the business teams allowing for swift and informed strategic decisions Ability to comprehend business issues and develop coherent & comprehensive business solutions Capacity to work in an international, complex and fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines Exhibit high levels of motivation and a drive to actively set and influence decisions; strong collaboration with effective communication skills with peers and senior management, with strong presentation skills across various regions and divisions, exerting influence and fostering collaboration Analytical thinking and modelling skills Strong presentation skills You are energised by: Working in a fast paced and highly collaborative and multicultural environment, providing critical insights and advising senior management on strategic decisions.
