Job Description What is the opportunity? In this role, you will provide oversight and monitoring of critical data and execution for Wealth Management processes to bring data practices and advise cross-functional data practice committees or working groups to address data-related issues and support remediation actions. You will foster a culture of collaboration across different functions and departments to ensure a holistic approach to data quality and governance, as well as ensure that data practices will converge and adhere to the enterprise data policies, standards, and procedures, both at the department and Business and Functional areas level, to achieve the required level of consistency, quality, and protection to meet overall business needs. You will coordinate work across key data practices and metadata, lineage and quality specialists What will you do? Data Quality Framework (40%) Analyze and document data intensive reporting and reconciliation processes in WM Globally and identify opportunities to optimize through better data sourcing and leverage emerging data governance and analytics capabilities. Act as a subject matter expert, provide advisory services to stakeholders on the implementation of the CDO data frameworks. Provide expertise on design of Data Quality rules, driving consistency and re-use (wherever applicable/possible) Advise on new Data Governing Model to comply with business needs and comply with policy, standards and procedures from WM Data Observation and Issue Management (30%) Develop operating model for capturing underling Data details to enable Data Observation and IMR. Recommend solutions to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Advise on root cause remediation, preventative controls, and prioritization of issue resolution Metadata & Lineage Management (30%) For identified Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and collect metadata and lineage information for critical reports, key business processes and data domains across WM. What do you need to succeed? Must haves: Post secondary education or equivalent 7+ years prior experience in data practices, data quality monitoring or data lineage capture. Experience handling and deriving information from large data sets. Understanding of wealth management, retail and commercial banking policies, processes, and procedures. Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python etc. Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools such as Collibra, IBM CP4D and cloud technology experience, especially Snowflake, MS Azure or AWS What’s in it for you?
