Job Description General Summary: The International Supply Chain, Senior Manager Continuous Improvement is responsible for implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the Logistics Network of Vertex International and their 3PLs. In addition, this position will own the continuous improvement governance framework with 3PL partners and be responsible for the continuous improvement budget. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall CI governance framework and KPI reporting and CI saving tracking. Responsible to lead CI related workshops to enable business units and 3PL to generate a CI pipeline. Control overall spend on change management Identification and delivery of Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives documenting and tracking initiatives and progress through to delivery. Implement process improvements to reduce complexity and eliminate non-value-added activities. Point of escalation for any continuous improvement/PM issues Review, analyse and identify trends in performance data. Lead CI board monthly to ensure cross functional alignment in term of priorities for change management. Draft change controls to support implementation of projects and make sure impact assessments are reviewed and actioned. Build business cases and project plans using relevant tools Establish KPI’s and Saving / Cost avoidance trackers to monitor and track improvements Build and deliver engagement and communication plans to inform relevant stakeholders of planned changes Support business functions to define change management requirements, timelines and costs. Attendance and participation at F2F workshops, Off Site days and conferences as necessary. Knowledge and Skills: In-depth experience in customer services, order management and logistics for pharmaceutical products Proven experience working with 3rd party logistics providers (3PLs) and in export shipping requirements for various global regions Proven experience in project management and methodologies Strong analytical and problem solving skills, bringing a new perspective to existing solutions and exercising judgement based on technical experience Skilled at preparing and presenting informational and compelling reports, delivering to a variety of audiences Skilled at creative problem solving within the boundaries of Standard Operating Procedures Excellent ability to collaborate with other functional areas and build effective, productive business relationships In-depth understanding of supply chain concepts/methods/theories and strong knowledge of regulations relating to pharmaceutical supply chain activities (cGMP, GDP, GCP, import/export, computer systems/Part 11) Significant project management skills and highly proficient at managing, tracking, and measuring project progress. Displays proven effectiveness in managing customer expectations, communicating in complex or sensitive situations and influencing/guiding others to build alignment on a proposed solution or topic Highly proficient with use of applicable software systems Experience in building and managing high-performing teams Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline Typically requires 6 years experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience Flex Designation: Hybrid-Eligible Or On-Site Eligible Flex Eligibility Status: In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as: 1.
