How you’ll help us make health happen Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales and client management team and foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement. Set clear team performance expectations and develop annual sales plans aligned with business objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and intermediaries, while expanding the broker network and identifying new partnership opportunities. Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the SME and corporate portfolio. Collaborate with marketing, product and pricing teams to tailor propositions for the Hong Kong market. Mentor and develop internal talent by supporting team members in achieving their personal development goals and career progression. Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in International Private Medical Health Insurance (IPMI), health insurance or financial services. Proven track record in managing sales teams and achieving commercial targets. Strong understanding of the Hong Kong insurance market and broker landscape. Strategic thinking with strong execution capability. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Strong leadership and people development skills. Fluency in English and Cantonese. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver effective solutions. Why Bupa? We’re a health insurer and provider.
