Company DIAC SA Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Lead Developer to join our Discovery squad. In this critical role, you will combine technical leadership with project management expertise to drive the development and delivery of innovative web applications and solutions that support our financial services offerings across 25 countries. You will be responsible for leading development teams, driving projects from design to deployment, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. The role requires a strong technical background, clear communication skills, and the ability to guide and motivate teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities => Technical Leadership Lead and mentor the development team, ensuring skills growth, cohesion, and adherence to best practices. Act as technical reference point, solving complex issues and guiding architecture decisions. Development & Innovation Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend applications and microservices on GCP/Kubernetes. Drive code quality through reviews, standards, automated testing, and CI/CD. Integrate software components, oversee testing, and monitor performance to ensure stability. Contribute to innovation initiatives (automation, AI, reusability, testing frameworks). Project & Delivery Translate business needs into technical solutions, aligning with product and architecture teams. Define scope, track tasks (Jira), and manage risks to deliver on time, budget, and quality. Produce and maintain technical specifications, documentation, and project plans. Actively participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies, promoting continuous improvement. DevOps & Cloud Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices. Deploy, operate, and optimise applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Ensure industrialisation and automation of delivery pipelines. Profile / Qualifications => 10+ years in software development (5+ in Java/C#), with strong background in architecture and team leadership. Expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot/Cloud, plus solid experience in C/C++/C#, JSON. Skilled in microservices, event-driven design, and cloud-native deployment. Proficient in GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI), and IaC (Terraform, Ansible). Strong knowledge of APIs, IIS, client/server architectures, and advanced SQL Server. Agile (Scrum, SAFe) practitioner with a strong product orientation. Experienced in managing budgets, timelines, and resources. Focused on performance, security, and scalability. Hands-on leader with proven ability to coach and grow teams. Excellent communicator with fluent English (oral and written). Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred). Knowledge of financial products a plus. Technical Skills Mastery of development environments (Visual Studio 2012/2022, TFS) and browser debugging tools (IE, Firefox, Chrome). Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Comfortable working in a Windows 11 and cloud-first environment. Experience leading development in both legacy and modern stacks, ensuring industrialization of code delivery pipelines.
