Your Daily Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Collaborate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth project execution and incident resolution, including participation in on-call rotations.
Manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, handle complex development tasks, and recommend best-practice-based solutions.
Apply deep domain knowledge to maintain the overall health and performance of the technology function.
Diagnose and resolve various technical issues using industry standards and past experience.
Support product owners by assessing software needs and developing or reviewing detailed specifications.
Continuously improve team processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Document system architectures, workflows, and procedures for internal and management use.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date system inventories.
Profile
Required Skills and Qualifications
University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of relevant experience, including proven senior project involvement.
Expertise in Cisco IronPort; knowledge of Proofpoint is an asset.
Strong experience with Microsoft messaging platforms: Exchange Online/M365, Exchange 2016/2019/SE.
In-depth understanding of email security controls (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, anti-spam, anti-malware).
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and command-line management.
Solid experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Load Balancers, ADFS, Entra ID, and SAML.
Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize Windows Server 2016/2019 environments.
Familiarity with virtual machines, vendor appliances, and standard server engineering tools.
Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Experience with ServiceNow and change/incident management processes.
Exposure to enterprise integrations in mergers and acquisitions contexts.
Experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of Azure/IaaS are strong assets.
