We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Senior Information Manager who will be accountable for leading, developing, and overseeing the comprehensive BIM information management strategy and its execution within Rolls-Royce SMR. Reporting to the Head of Power Station Integration, this role will be responsible for managing a BIM team delivering Information Management to the power station. This will be a senior management role and the candidate will be expected to operate within the project with minimal supervision and contribute to the wider management of the Power Station Integration and the wider business and external organisations. Key Results & What can be achieved in the role. Manage Rolls-Royce SMR BIM projects being accountable for implementation of ISO19650 and other related BIM standards across multiple disciplines in both Production and Project orientated environments for the repeatable construction of our Rolls-Royce Power Stations. Develop and execute the organisation's overarching BIM and digital information management strategy, aligning it with business goals and project delivery objectives. Establish and enforce organisational BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance across all projects. Manage the implementation and maintenance of the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring its integrity, security, and proper use for all project information exchanges. Manage the organisation's suite of BIM-related software and technology platforms, including licensing, procurement, and implementation. Manage the coordination and federation of BIM models from multiple disciplines to ensure a single, reliable source of project information. Review and approve project-specific information requirements (EIRs) and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) to ensure they meet project needs and align with organisational standards. Conduct regular audits and quality control checks to ensure project teams are adhering to BIM protocols and achieving model accuracy and compliance. Provide high-level oversight of project data delivery, ensuring high-quality asset information is captured and delivered for operational and facility management purposes. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and design teams on all matters related to BIM and information management. Key Experience Requirements. Experience of BIM transformational leadership into a business(es) through multiple projects. Experience in a BIM or digital delivery role within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Experience of successfully leading information management for large, complex infrastructure or building projects. Experience managing and mentoring a team of BIM professionals. BIM Information Management Expertise Advanced knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and the UK BIM Framework. Advanced knowledge of common data environments (CDEs) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, or Viewpoint. Advanced knowledge of ISO19650 related documentation including processes, guidance material and standards to support quality reviews and approvals. Experience of acting as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and design teams on all matters related to BIM and information management. Ability to lead project and internal meetings to communicate BIM goals, address issues, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned. Ability to report on the progress and effectiveness of BIM implementation to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Leadership & Mentoring Leads, mentors, and manages BIM professionals, including BIM Managers and Coordinators. Oversees training programs to improve the BIM competency of the wider organisation. Works closely with senior management, clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to define BIM requirements and ensure digital deliverables meet project goals. Drives the integration of BIM with other business functions, including project management, cost estimation, scheduling, and facility management. Training & Qualification Requirements A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management ISO19650 certification Professional Certification - Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or equivalents Project management certification - Project Management Professional (PMP) or certifications from institutions like the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is advantageous Salary and Package: We anticipate paying a salary between £68,000 - £90,000 Bonus - Short Term Incentive - Performance Based- target opportunity 17% Benefits Allowance - £5,000, enabling you to create a bespoke package Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
