Job Summary         

The Senior HR Generalist serves as a representative for the region and is responsible for providing local HR expertise and support for a broad range of HR-related duties. This role will require a professional with international experience, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, and a passion for developing people.  

Responsibilities:

  • Manage employment contracts and ensure compliance with local labor law and employment regulations. 
  • Assist with the immigration process as needed. 
  • Handle HR administration (policy updates, employee records in HRIS).
  • Coordinate HR orientation for new hires. 
  • Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries. 
  • Manage employee relations cases (e.g. long-term sick leaves, terminations). 
  • Serve as escalation point for vendors. 
  • Partner with management to reinforce a safe and positive work environment and support a culture initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.  
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in HR roles.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and employment practices across EMEA.
  • Ability and desire to keep up to date with legal changes. 
  • Practical experience working with HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with visa, work permit, and relocation processes across EMEA countries.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and strong knowledge of Dutch (upper intermediate level or higher).
