Senior Hospital Pharmacist - Cork City

Clarity is recruiting a Senior Hospital Pharmacist for a hospital in Cork City.

What you need to know:
This is a 12-month temporary role covering maternity leave. The department operates from 08:00 to 16:00, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (13:00–14:00) and a 30-minute paid morning tea break.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing clinical pharmacy services for elderly rehabilitation and residential wards.
• Covering dispensary duties, including checking medications and controlled drugs.
• Responding to medicine information queries.
• Attending meetings as required.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Proactive approach to patient care and pharmacy operations.

What we require:

• Professional registration: Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), or eligible for registration.
• Experience: Minimum of three years post-registration hospital pharmacy experience.
• Skills and abilities: High standard of clinical knowledge, professional suitability, and management capability for proper discharge of duties.
