We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to deliver expert technical support across electro-mechanical systems and controls for critical baggage handling equipment. In this role, you will work on proactive maintenance, fault-finding, and system optimization, ensuring smooth and reliable operations for clients. You will also contribute to project implementations, provide tele-support and on-site resolution for complex technical issues, and mentor junior engineers. This role offers the chance to work closely with cross-functional teams, develop technical leadership skills, and enhance service delivery across multiple sites in the UK. \n Accountabilities: Provide technical leadership and tele-support for complex electro-mechanical and control system issues. Coordinate fault correction activities and monitor system performance to prevent failures. Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and support ongoing projects. Document service activities and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to exceed service expectations. Contribute to performance improvement programs and technical training initiatives. Collaborate with subcontractors, internal teams, and stakeholders to optimize service operations. Requirements: City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above in mechanical/electrical maintenance. Strong technical knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, system controls, and fault-finding. Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and FSCs (Field Service Controllers) is highly advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Maximo (CMMS) is desirable. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to implement effective solutions. Strong communication skills to build trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders.
