Data and Software Engineering (DSE) is the "build engine" of IDT Delivery and Engineering. Comprising Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Information Management professionals, DSE is committed to delivering exceptional technical solutions, fostering innovation, and ensuring seamless project execution. DSE focuses on technical delivery, engineering excellence, capability development, performance culture, and technical assurance. Key Accountabilities: Solution Development & Consultation: Develop solutions in line with enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices. Estimate, design, and deliver technical solutions, including code, tests, and documentation. Contribute to functional excellence by defining and maintaining standards, methods, and tools, and incorporating best practices from market standards. Integration & Architecture: Manage complex integration scenarios between on-premises solutions, cloud, and legacy systems. Influence design and architecture decisions. Collaboration & Delivery: Liaise with various technology teams, operations, and product contacts to facilitate project delivery. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Work closely with the product and UX teams to optimize user experience. Experience & Skills: Min of 8+ years overall experience with at least 4 years of hands-on experience as a React JS and either Node JS or Go Lang. React Native (Front End): Hands-on experience in building apps using React JS is mandatory. Node JS or Go Lang (Back End):Experience in building apps using either Node JS or Go Lang is essential. Flutter or Native mobile app: Strong design and development experience in building mobile apps architecture for MFE. CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. TypeScript/JavaScript: Strong functional/object-oriented design and development experience with TypeScript or JavaScript (ES5 & ES6). Performance Optimization: Understanding of performance testing and optimization techniques. Technical Leadership: Strong technical leadership skills are desired. Good to have Skills: Containerization: Working knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. Usability Concepts: Familiarity with usability concepts within web and mobile design. GitHub: Knowledge of GitHub and expertise in wearable devices.
