Job Description: Department IT Delivery Position purpose Provide business analysis across small/medium sized projects initially in the Gas and Bio Fuels Operations delivery space to help enhance and support applications developed by the team. Be a Product Owner for the area you are working in, developing a joint strategic vision with your stakeholder counterparts on how the product landscape will look. Use Agile best practices for coordinating delivery of items through the development lifecycle. Ensuring all relevant agile ceremonies are conducted with the delivery team and stakeholders i.e. operating in sprint, conducting sprint reviews, backlog refinements, daily standups etc. Work under the leadership and direction of the IT Delivery Ops Manager ensuring best industry practise of analysis is applied. Write sufficiently detailed requirements in the form product backlog items ensuring sufficient acceptance criteria is provided so that both developers can understand what success means for a backlog item. When required assist with new product configuration and testing and provide systems analysis to help resolve third line support issues. Experience required The candidate will ideally have the following experiences: Good understanding of software development lifecycle through practical experiences Good understanding of Gas Operations ideally and/or Biofuels and the key responsibilities of these departments Practical experiences working in scrum delivery teams Good understanding of a the physical energy trade lifecycle Experience of talking with business users to define requirements or solve problems Person specification We are looking for a strong problem solver with the ability to quickly understand business concepts and translate them with the delivery teams into technical solutions Core to the role and working in this team is having a great attitude.
