We're looking for an experienced investment operations professional to join our expanding Investments division. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage daily equity dealing operations, drive process improvements, and develop team capability while working closely with fund managers and senior stakeholders. What you'll do: Equity dealing and investment administration efficiently administer dealing on equity portfolios (direct equities and funds) work closely with fund managers to execute dealing instructions and communicate portfolio holdings manage discretionary equity and fund portfolios, including compliance, performance reporting, and benchmark data liaise with platform providers to ensure smooth client portfolio operations delegate tasks effectively, providing training and support to senior and junior team members Process and performance management identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency monitor and report on workload, compliance, and project progress ensure work is completed within service level agreements maintain awareness of the changing financial services environment and adapt processes accordingly coach and mentor colleagues to improve operational performance assist the Head of Investment Operations with team projects and escalated tasks What weβre looking for: Essential platform securities knowledge and experience β this is critical industry qualifications to minimum Level 3 (CII, CISI, or equivalent) thorough understanding of investment transaction procedures and dealing processes strong numeracy, literacy, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills proven experience in equity dealing or investment operations Desirable previous leadership experience with coaching and mentoring skills experience with multiple investment platforms background in wealth management or asset management operations Whatβs in it for you: π° competitive salary (depending on experience) β° 34.5 hour working week π₯ health cash plan (core Level 1) πΌ 5% employer/5% employee pension π 4x salary life assurance and group income protection π 25 daysβ holiday + statutory (increasing with service) π hybrid working β a blend of home and office time in Leicester π± training and development opportunities π€ a supportive, collaborative team environment Why join us?
