Role: Senior Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner Location: The Princess Grace Hospital Hours: Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours per week Shifts: Monday – Saturday, 5 days per week, earlies, lates and long days (8am-4pm, 12pm-9pm, 7:30am-9pm) Salary: Competitive + shift allowance We are looking for an Senior Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner to join our Operating Theatres Department at The Princess Grace Hospital currently rated “Good” by the CQC. The theatres across our facilities, provide a vibrant, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none. We work with World Class Surgeons and the latest innovate technology and equipment including Da Vinci Surgical system and have performed over 500 robotic procedure with 2 Davinci robots currently. What you will do: Working as part of a team ensuring a high standard of nursing care and safety of patients within the theatre department. Whilst utilising evidence based practice. Prepare patients for clinical/ operative procedures, both in anaesthetics and surgery. Participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives Ensure all equipment is checked prior to use and any faults reported to the Theatre Co-ordinator immediately. What you will bring: Bachelor of Nursing Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner Current HCPC Registration or NMC Registration/ NMC pin Experience working in an Operating Theatre as an Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner.
