This is an opportunity to make a real difference while developing your career in a dynamic and highly respected industry.    Day-to-day, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring secure access to one of the UK’s most critical defence sites. Your role will help protect national security by managing access systems, authorising visits, and maintaining compliance with stringent security protocols.  Managing all access into nuclear sites and maintaining the Symmetry access system Producing and issuing access cards, handling pass renewals, and authorising visits  Carrying out security checks and ensuring compliance with security processes  Delivering excellent customer service in an open office environment  Liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.   This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.   Essential experience of the Security Access Controller Demonstrable customer-focused skills  Excellent communication abilities  Proficiency with MS Office and data systems  Strong attention to detail  Ability to maintain confidentiality   Qualifications for the Security Access Controller GCSE English & Maths (Grade A–E) or equivalent  Completed or willing to complete NVQ Level 2 in Administration   Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain (SC) security clearance for this role.   Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
