We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Back Office / Sales Support Specialist to manage and resolve order booking issues across our sales and operations teams. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely order processing, maintaining data integrity, and supporting smooth revenue recognition. Key Accountabilities Order Management & Issue Resolution Monitor and track order booking discrepancies across systems and teams. Investigate and resolve issues related to missing, incorrect, or delayed order entries. Escalate complex or unresolved cases to appropriate stakeholders with clear documentation. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with Sales, Order Entry, Finance, Engineering and Operations to ensure issue alignment and resolution. Ensure clear communication across teams to maintain smooth order-to-cash operations. Reporting & Process Improvement Maintain accurate records of issue logs, resolutions, and changes made to processes. Identify recurring problems and contribute to process optimization and efficiency initiatives. Provide regular reporting on issue trends, resolution metrics, and performance indicators. Compliance & Audit Support Support internal and external audits related to order booking processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls and documentation standards. What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you should bring: Education & Experience Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths. Proven experience in back office support, order management or sales operations. Understanding of order-to-cash processes is a plus. Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
