Location: London Reports to: Global Head of Global Sales and Account Development Full-time | Hybrid About the Role As a Sales Business Manager, you will take ownership of a programme of work that will deliver key outcomes and impact to our sales pipeline; conversion rate and growth metrics. You will serve as the sales lead and project manager; change driver and implementer — ensuring that the programme delivers measurable outcomes in a timely manner that are strategically aligned with our firm’s services and value proposition. This role requires a balance of sales understanding, project management, subject matter expertise, collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs), commercial teams and the management of external vendors. The successful candidate will also be able to take complex information and prioritise this for execution and implementation within the business. It is critical that the successful candidate has a growth mindset, challenging the status quo and ensuring the best of Vialto is brought to our global sales and account development team. What You’ll Do Daily Core Activities Own and maintain the overall programme plan - Ensure all workstreams are aligned with strategic objectives and deliverables. Bring your sales experience and sales expertise to the fore to align on goals and get things done Drive execution of deliverables - Monitor progress against key requirements, deadlines, and milestones. Manage timelines and dependencies - Use project management tools to coordinate internal contributors and track adherence to deadlines. Facilitate stakeholder communication - Host daily or scheduled check-ins to align priorities, clarify expectations, and remove roadblocks. Collaborate across teams - Use platforms like MS Teams (or similar) to ensure smooth communication and document sharing Monitor and report on key metrics - Track programme performance indicators such as progress, risks, and resource utilization. Drive improvements in Sales metrics (pipeline, conversion; sold) Risk and issue management - Identify potential risks early, maintain a risk log, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance and governance - Validate that all activities adhere to organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain documentation and updates - Keep programme documentation current, including status reports, dashboards, and meeting notes. Complete and submit information to the Steerco as requested. Stakeholder engagement and relationship building - Actively manage expectations and foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. Additional Responsibilities (Weekly/Ad Hoc) Preparation of SteerCo documents to support the Global Sales Leader Participate in lessons learnt to drive continual improvement Invoice submission and tracking Preparation of coaching materials and enablement materials Enabling the business Preparation of reports combining the presentation of data; persuasive writing and specific actions to drive outcomes What You Bring Sales / Sales operations experience 5+ years’ experience as a business manager/ programme manager in a professional services, consulting, or B2B environment. Strong project management and coordination skills; thrives on juggling multiple deadlines and stakeholders. Excellent written English and presentation skills Familiarity with managing external vendors Change management expertise and skills e.g PROSCI Proficient in M365 Applications including MSTeams; Word; Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe. Proficient in CRM - Salesforce Bonus: experience in tools like PowerBI, Sharepoint; enablement WHY THIS ROLE Play a pivotal role in winning new business for a fast-growing global services firm.
