Line of Service Assurance Industry/Sector Technology Specialism Risk Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary About the role We are looking for a high performing Senior Manager to work with the Risk Digital CTO team within Risk on a permanent basis, you will need proven experience of working in a digital team. This role provides strategic leadership and oversight for a number of technology areas including finance and operations, Managed Services, Ideas Refinery, governance of our technology projects and the management and standardisation of technology assets and processes. What your days will look like: Provide oversight for technology investments across the Risk LoS, ensuring alignment with business strategy and strong governance. Identify and manage technology costs for Risk, covering budgets, forecasting, and supplier relationships. Establish and maintain programme governance frameworks for tracking progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring delivery accountability. Support overarching technology investment governance for Risk, including Financial Services, Commercial & Government, AI&M, Cyber and Forensics. Partner with the Risk Managed Services (MS) Leader to embed and optimise technology within the Managed Services portfolio. Drive innovation and help business units leverage technology in client delivery and internal operations. Oversee clear documentation and reporting on asset usage and performance metrics. Lead simplification and rationalisation of the technology portfolio to eliminate duplication and optimise resources. Provide clear leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching to support professional growth and high performance across the team. The role is for you if: Demonstrable project ownership/management skills including ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain drive and pace Strong stakeholder management- ability and confidence to engage senior stakeholders, and to work towards a common goal/ deadline Awareness of technology enablement and the benefits technology and alliances can bring to proposition development and delivery. A good understanding of the risks associated with technology delivery.
