Resident Involvement Support Officer

Salary range: Grade 6 £35,520- £36,585 p.a. plus fantastic benefits Contract: Permanent Hours of work: 36 hours per week Location: Croydon Croydon Council is committed to putting residents at the heart of housing services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Resident Involvement Support Officer to join our Housing team and help us deliver high-quality engagement with our tenants and leaseholders. About the role As a Resident Involvement Support Officer, you will: Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support for the Resident Involvement Team. Help organise meetings, events and panels where residents can shape housing services. Support residents with expenses, travel and accessibility needs so they can fully participate. Prepare and share information, reports, and communications with residents and colleagues. Keep accurate records of engagement activities, surveys and resident feedback. Work closely with Resident Involvement Officers and the Senior Resident Involvement Officer to make sure engagement activities run smoothly. This role is a great opportunity to develop your skills in resident engagement, housing and community work, while playing a key part in ensuring residents’ voices are heard. About you We are looking for someone who has: Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail. Good communication skills – written and verbal – and the confidence to work with residents and colleagues at all levels. A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities. IT skills, including Microsoft Office and willingness to learn housing/engagement systems. A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
