RESH Manager Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity that will enable you to drive change as well as broaden your leadership and project management experience? This role is based at our large manufacturing site in Prudhoe, Northumberland and it’s a great time to join the management team at Prudhoe as it continues with its ambitious plans for the future. About the Role As RESH Manager, you will lead a team of five and as part of the site’s leadership team you will set out the RESH vision and work as a business partner with other site leaders to ensure engagement and successful application of this vision. What You Will Do Leading the development of Prudhoe’s RESH strategy towards a mature RESH culture integrated into our site TPM journey, through benchmarking, influencing and coaching key decision makers, implementing and continuous monitoring of agreed enablers and objectives, with continued roll-out of and effective use of systems, reporting platforms, documentation and programs. Through your own and your teams continuous knowledge development of legal requirements, you will ensure that the site complies with laws, regulations and corporate standards and policies, and implementing all relevant changes successfully. Be the contact person for the certification bodies and applicable authorities focusing through clear site-wide actions on achieving and maintaining certificates that are key to the organization. Implement and sustain the internal, corporate and external audit program. Ensure the necessary training related to the RESH systems & standards are undertaken through your team activities to all areas of the business. Support the organization in Incident Management and investigations aiming to provide a learning culture and avoid personal injury, damage and health risks. Who You Are You will have a background in manufacturing, where you have led by example and have an innate passion for, and coached others on the health and safety of all employees, contractors and visitors. This may have come from being a H&S Manager or strategically helped implement a strong H&S culture on a site. With this experience, you will now want to use your expertise to drive our Prudhoe site to an advanced RESH culture. With a working knowledge of environmental regulation, fire safety standards, and applicable health and safety law, you will be NEBOSH qualified. You will be a proven leader who is results driven and who meets business objectives through collaboratively working and coaching others. You can own mid- to large-scale projects and ensure they are successfully implemented. You will also have experience working on environmental and safety software systems (ideally Gensuite). In addition, you will be a natural effective communicator who can engage others to work to team and individual targets. You will be able to influence appropriately and challenge professionally so that the right decisions are made for the business. In summary, you are a leader of self, people and projects.
