TITLE: Rental Supervisor LOCATION: Creekside and Snowbird Sports (Snowbird Center) STATUS: Full-Time, Seasonal SCHEDULE: Varies ANTICIPATED START DATE: Late October 2025 SUMMARY Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Rental Supervisor supports the daily operations of Cliff Sports, Snowbird Sports, and Creekside Sports. This role ensures smooth store operations, delivers exceptional customer service, and assists with inventory, merchandising, and employee management. WHAT YOU’LL DO Supervise daily store operations across assigned locations. Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service. Support inventory management and product merchandising. Assist with employee supervision and training. Lead by example in all aspects of job performance. May assist with purchasing and product selection. WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1–2 years of relevant experience with demonstrated competence. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass ski binding certification within 30 days of start date. Completion of manufacturer’s binding training and on-the-job training required. Certification in proper ski binding setup and use of repair tools/equipment. Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Responsible for securing customer equipment and completing repairs promptly. Strong product knowledge to assist guests with rentals, tunes, and equipment adjustments. Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer functions. Proficient in reading, writing, and arithmetic; able to interpret inventory reports and resolve accounting discrepancies. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Highly organized with attention to detail; able to work under pressure. Must maintain positive interactions with guests and coworkers across departments. WORK SCHEDULE Specific shift: 8 am to 5 pm Shifts vary and may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs. WORKING CONDITIONS Must be prepared to stay overnight during occasional road closures. May experience stress due to public interaction, winter conditions, and commuting. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Requires bending, kneeling, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions. Must work efficiently under pressure and handle frequent interruptions. May experience stress during high-occupancy periods and guest interactions. Requires a friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to make quick decisions. Advanced or expert skiing/snowboarding ability preferred.
